Vind Outdoor Armchair by Kasper Salto

Created for the outdoor spaces of the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, this new furniture series takes its name from the Danish word for wind and reflects the openness and calm of the coastal landscape that surrounds the museum.

The Vind Armchair pairs an aluminium frame with a handwoven polyester cord seat, bringing wonderful sitting comfort, lightness and durability to the design. Armrests add comfort and support. 
“I think a chair should be very comfortable, no matter how long you sit. I’ve used a double-curved geometry in the back. It allows you to sit in several ways, and the chair adapts better to the body with that form.”
