Together Extending Table by Ilse Crawford
Studioilse sees design as a way of amplifying our experience of daily life. The Together Table was designed as an extension of the Seating for Eating collective. Rounded ends act as drop leaves, creating a rectangular table when locked underneath. The simple and intuitive extension function utilises a sliding wooden bar. The rounded ends of the table allow for more flexible seating options, encouraging two people to squeeze in at either end for an informal and friendly feeling.
The narrower version physically brings the diners closer, making conversation easier. Together is also available in a wider version for those who require more space.

Materials
Timber elements are available in American Black Walnut, American White oak, or European Ash in a range of oils, stains and painted finishes. All timber from sustainable sources.
Copper feet.
Brushed copper locking mechanism.
Note: due to limitations of the length of the premium wood planks available, the wood grain on the extension leaves does not match that of the table
