System Cado® Shelving by Poul Cadovius for Dk3

After a successful introduction of the iconic wall-mounted shelving system Royal System® in 1948, and the minimal System Ultra® shelving in 1957, the legendary Danish designer Poul Cadovius took a further step and designed System Cado® in 1960.

All three storage systems were based on the same wall-hung design principle. While Royal System® and System Ultra® were made with hangers in brass or steel, the System Cado® was developed with wooden brackets, making it Poul Cadovius’ first shelving system crafted entirely in wood.
