Stemlite Opal Wall Lamp by Gubi

GUBI reintroduces Bill Curry’s iconic 1960s Stemlite family for 2026 - now featuring its original opal glass shade to restore the designer’s intended warmth and clarity. 
Inspired by mid-century innovation, the lamp blends clean, aerospace-influenced lines with soft, organic curves, while the mouth-blown opal globe diffuses light evenly to create a gentle, ambient glow.
The much-emulated Stemlite, was named “most influential lamp of the year” by Industrial Design Magazine in 1965, and used on the set of the original Star Trek TV series.
