Duotone version of the popular original San Francisco rug. Designed by Woodnotes co-founder Ritva Puotila, San Francisco was granted a German Design Council Best of the Best award in 2017.
Woodnotes is a Finnish design company founded in 1987 by textile designer Ritva Puotila and her son Mikko Puotila. The company specialises in developing spun paper yarn from wood fibres, which is durable, resilient, biodegradable and 100% vegan.
Due to the density of the fibres, paper yarn collects neither dust nor dirt – great news for those with allergies.
Championing Finnish craftsmanship & creativity, all wood and paper is sourced locally.
Notes on ordering
Sewn edges, turned ends and soil repellent treatment are supplied as standard.
Polyester felt backing is optional, but the use of a non-skid underlay is recommended for carpets without backing.
