OW224 Rungstedlund Dining Table by Carl Hansen & Søn

The OW224 Rungstedlund Dining Table was designed by Danish designer Ole Wanscher in 1962 for the home of Danish author Karen Blixen. Blixen hosted many prominent dinner parties where she invited writers, actors, atomic physicists, and
other interesting guests from the cultural scene to join her around the Wanscher dining table. Today, the site houses the Karen Blixen Museum, which opened in 1991.

Ole Wanscher drew inspiration from English furniture from the 1700s – as demonstrated by its slender form and curved silhouettes. With the re-launch of the sleek and refined Rungstedlund Dining table Carl Hansen & Søn is expanding its collection of Ole Wanscher furniture.
