Nelson Pear Wall Sconce Cabled by Herman Miller for Hay
The Nelson Pear Wall Sconce is part of the Nelson Bubble Lamp series. Originally designed by pioneering American designer George Nelson in 1947, and first produced in 1952, the Bubble Lamp signaled a revolution in the Modernist lighting industry.
A walnut wall mount and steel arm suspends the pear drop-shaped shade and lets the lamp fill any interior with a warm, diffused light. The lampās arm can be adjusted from left to right and up and down without having to change its position on the wall.
In honour of HAY's partnership with Herman Miller, HAY have become the distributor of George Nelson's iconic Bubble Lamps.
