Keglen Pendant by Louis Poulsen
Architect Bjarke Ingels & the design team from BIG Ideas created Keglen in collaboration with Louis Poulsen in 2017. The aim was to create a simple but unique pendant lamp focusing on geometry and the essence of light.
Each conical shade has a built-in curved opal insert. This ensures a both attractive and glare-free downward light. The white interior ensures that its light is reflected flawlessly. A gentle light is also emitted upwards through a uniform, discreet opening in the top of the shades which adds to the perfect ambiance.
