Eames Plastic Side Chair RE LSR
The compact Plastic Chair LSR (Lounge Height Side Chair Rod Base) was a favourite of Charles and Ray Eames: they used the low chair throughout the Eames House, their legendary home in Pacific Palisades, as needed and especially when engaging in conversation with guests.
Now in fully recycled plastic
As of Spring 2024 the shells of the Eames Plastic Chairs are now made of recycled post-consumer plastic and the chair family will be known known as Eames Plastic Chair RE.
The high-quality recycled material is obtained through the 'Yellow Bag' (Gelber Sack) collection programme in Germany. Utilising this material generates fewer climate-damaging emissions, with a significant reduction in primary energy consumption.
Physical samples can always be viewed in store at haus®.
Compatible loose seat pads are available separately in a range of fabrics and/or leathers: see Soft Seats Indoor Seat Pads and Soft Seats Outdoor Pads.

Seat shell in dyed-through, recycled polypropylene, 100% recyclable.
Non-stacking four-legged wire base with cross struts. The powder-coated version is suitable for outdoor use.
Comes with nylon glides for carpet or felt glides for hard floors. We will supply with felt glides as standard unless you inform us you prefer nylon glides.
