Eames Plastic Side Chair RE DSR
The so-called Eiffel Tower base of the DSR chair (Dining Height Side Chair Rod Base), an intricate and graceful construction made of steel wire, combines light, elegant forms with structural strength.
Now in fully recycled plastic
As of Spring 2024 the shells of the Eames Plastic Chairs are now made of recycled post-consumer plastic and the chair family will be known known as Eames Plastic Chair RE.
The high-quality recycled material is obtained through the 'Yellow Bag' (Gelber Sack) collection programme in Germany. Utilising this material generates fewer climate-damaging emissions, with a significant reduction in primary energy consumption.
Physical samples can always be viewed in store at haus®.
Compatible loose seat pads are available separately in a range of fabrics and/or leathers: see Soft Seats Indoor Seat Pads and Soft Seats Outdoor Pads.

Seat shell in dyed-through, recycled polypropylene, 100% recyclable. Note: due to the composition of the recycled material, the seat shell colours exhibit very subtle specks of pigment.
Non-stacking four-legged wire base with cross struts. (DSR = Dining Height Side Chair Rod Base) The powder-coated version in black or white is suitable for outdoor use.
Comes with nylon glides for carpet or felt glides for hard floors. We will supply with felt glides as standard unless you inform us you prefer nylon glides.
