CH24 Wishbone Chair by Carl Hansen & Søn
The CH24 'Wishbone' Chair has been in continuous production since its introduction in 1950. It remains the most recognisable chair that we display at haus® - elegant, light and comfortable.
The popular name Wishbone was inspired by the Y-shaped backrest, which provides back support and stability. More than 100 steps are required to make one chair - amongst other things, the hand-woven seat consists of more than 120 metres of paper cord.
Please also see CH24 Wishbone Chair in Soft Colours and special Ilse Crawford Colours.
