CH162 Sofa by Carl Hansen & Søn

The CH162 sofa for two people was designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1965. Despite a geometric appearance, the CH162 is a soft and comfortable sofa with raised sides and simple but distinctive details.
The solid wooden frame of Wegner’s sofa is firmly upholstered. The pillows have down wrapped around the core foam, which allowed Wegner to add softness and excellent comfort to the geometric form.
The sofa is available in two sizes: CH162 as a two-seater and CH163 as a three-seater.

Frame available in Oak or Walnut in a variety of finishes.

Materials
Carl Hansen & Søn use premium quality Ash, beech, mahogany, oak, teak, and walnut. Finishes available are Soap, clear lacquer, oil, white oil.

Wood is a natural material and may vary depending on the environment - walnut and teak can vary considerably in tone and pattern even within the same log.
