With the Can sofa family, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec wanted to reinvigorate the whole idea of the sofa into something simple, relaxed and accessible. The Can armchair and two sofas all come flat-packed and can be easily assembled at home from three basic elements – frame, cover and cushions making it perfect for compact homes, or tricky access situations.

Can is made to order in an edited range of fabrics and leathers selected by HAY, with brand new options added for 2024. Click here for the full selection.
The frame is available in Black Powder-coated or Chromed finish.
The outer fabric 'wrap' is available in Black or Natural Canvas.

Foam and recycled polyester fiber duvet.
Mattress with integrated anti-slip fleece on the back side (Non-reversible)
Frame in Black Powder-coated or Chromed finish.
Black canvas or Natural canvas outer fabric.
Black cotton strap attached to the outer fabric.
