9602 Floor Lamp - Bamboo by Gubi
GUBI returned theĀ 9602 Floor Lamp to production in 2018, with lampshades in both canvas and wicker. Now in 2023, having mastered the complex process of handweaving wooden slats, GUBI has introduced a third shade option: bamboo.
The shade creates an engaging pattern of light as the glow penetrates between the slats, bringing a gentle warmth to the surrounding room.
Paavo Tynell (1890-1973) was known as the great pioneer of Finnish lighting design and fondly dubbed as āthe man who illuminated Finlandā.
